Venice, the capital of the Veneto district towards the northeast of Italy, along the coastline of the Po and Piave riverbanks gives justice to the fact that it belongs to the popular Monuments of World Heritage. Crowds of people from all over the world swarm into Venice in order to experience the romantic emotions that seem to flow in the water of its lagoon.

There are many attractions, things to do and see in Venice. As many days as you stay in Venice it will seem that time is not enough in order to take in this magical city. Venice is one of the most popular tourist destinations and anyone who has visited it will understand why. Venice has it all, from art, museums, palaces, shops, restaurants, sweet shops and many others. The odd thing about Venice is that it is built on a cluster of 118 small islands that are linked together with bridges. Its architecture stands out from everyone as there is always a work of art to admire. It is characterised for its gothic style, while at the same time it shows the Ottoman Renaissance and Baroque influences. It is not random that Venice has been an inspiration to so many musicians, authors and poets.

Venice is the birthplace of Antonio Vivaldi and is a Monument of World Heritage. Romance is displayed in the canals of Venice along with the gondoleros transferring lovers along the Grand Canal. The Piazza San Marco , the Pallazio Ducale,  the Torre dell’ Orologio , the Campanile , along with the Bridge of Sighs make visitors fall in love with it again and again. A peaceful boating in the colours of the sunset is one of the most romantic experiences that visitors can live in their entire life. Even though it sounds very touristy, do not miss out.
